THE CHALLENGE

Concrete around several perimeter pool railing posts at a residential community had failed or deteriorated, leaving the railing and its connections unsecure. The pool needed to stay open and accessible to residents the entire time, and the property wanted it resolved before the July 4th holiday weekend.

OUR APPROACH

Confirm scope on site first. 

Before mobilizing, ACS walked the site with the property contact to confirm conditions and lock down a tightly defined scope.

Demo and form post by post. 

Failed concrete was removed at each post location along the walkway, then formed and poured to restore a secure base for the railing.

Barricade and reopen fast. 

Each patch area was coned and taped off immediately after pouring and reopened to residents as soon as the concrete had cured, keeping the pool in continuous use.

Verify the fix held. 

ACS returned to inspect every patch, redid one that hadn't cured cleanly, and closed out with a final walkthrough before handing the area back.

THE RESULTS

ACS restored a secure base for the pool railing across every identified post location ahead of the requested holiday deadline, with the pool kept in service throughout via staged barricading rather than a full closure.
